Hello, this stack unit Maytag dryer just doesn't seem to get hot enough, after 90 minutes an average load is still very damp. Which is the cycling thermostat? Also, what should the ohmage reading be on the heater coils? The venting system is all clear and blowing good. Thanks, Steve

Answer Hello Steve. There is no cycling thermostat, this model uses a thermistor 35001056. Make sure the blower wheel 35001054 inside the unit is clear from lint and the venting inside the dryer is good and clear.

My Maytag dryer is not heating and reading 240v at power cord. Is there a thermal switch and where it is location?

Answer Hello Coupon Eddie. Check and make sure you have 240 volts coming to the dryer at the terminal block. Also, check the heater 34001073 and thermal fuses 35001021 35001022 and see if they are good. You can test these with a multi-meter TJMA-DM1. They should read closed for continuity.
