Hi. I am replacing the sensors of my gas dryer ( model LGV7646AW0) just for prevention. The dryer is very old but it still runs pretty well. It seems that I wrongly bought a hi-limit thermostat, AP3094085, that belongs to electric models.Apparently I should buy the AP3094085. I suppose it wont work on my appliance. Is that correct? The terminals are different, and perhaps they work at other temperatures aswell. Would like to know your opinion. By the way, the video explaining how to replace AP3094085 is for a Cycling sensor, not the Hi-limit.Thanks for your attention. Alex

I recently replaced the coils on the dryer and seemed to work fine. Now the dryer runs for about 15min. Then no heat let it set for 15 to 30 min you get heat again. The igniter will glow till it cools down then gas valve will open and light.

From a cold start, my gas dryer will ignite. It will cycle 3 or 4 times. In other words, the ignitor heats up and the flame will start, burn for awhile, turn off and stay off for awhile, then the ignitor will glow again, starting the flame. After the 3rd or 4th cycle the ignitor glows, but the flame does not come on. If I turn off the dryer and let it cool for about 20 minutes the flame will come on again and go through another 3 or 4 cycles before it fails. Air flow seens very good. It seems like one of the sensors is faulty, but which one? Thanks
