My oven temperature is about 50 deg less than indicated on control panel. Is the 'hi limit thermostat' or the 'oven temperature sensor' is bad or something else?

Answer Hello Mark. It sounds like the oven temperature sensor 12001656 is the problem. You can test it to see if it is bad. At room temperature, it should read around 1100 ohms. At 350° it should read around 1654 ohms. If it is outside these readings, you will need to replace the sensor. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DM1. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
