My JJW9530CCS has the same problem - the doors don't close completely. It appears I need 2 hinges - part no 74008014 - do I also need to replace the brackets? If so is there a single kit that includes all the parts required. Thanks!

We have a Jenn-Air JJW9630CAW double wall oven bought in 2003. We have had an issue for years with the doors being hard to get fully closed and the oven light coming on with the door closed. It has gotten worse to the point where the lights won't go out with the doors closed. The doors are actually to the point where they won't fully close now at all. We replaced the hinges. That worked slightly but eventually the doors went back to doing the same thing. I think it might be the receptacles in the body of the units We have read online that others have had this problem. Is there a guide to replacing the part and have you heard feedback that replacing this part might help?

Latest Questions

Sometime ago I replaced both Oven Door Hinges on my Jennair double oven, however it still does not close the oven door tightly. In fact the gap is so wide that the oven light switch does not turn the light off. I read elsewhere that I should have also replaced the Hinge receptical. Is Hinge recptacle assembly part #AP4096704 the correct part for this purpose? The picture of the part doesn't help to identify it's use. If not, what do I need to correct this problem? Thanks

Greetings, I have a JennAir wall oven/microwave combo. Bottom Oven door does not close all the way and has always been problematic. I believe I need to replace hinges and whatever else you recommend. Thanks.

Door was sprung -- hard to close. Replaced hinges, but looks like pins that hinges rest on are worn--door won't close properly. What part(s) do I need to fix this?
