Every few months the drain hose clogs up and the water will not drain. I cannot disconnect it to clean it. I think the hose should be smooth and not ridged, lint etc., seem to get stuck to the inner hose. What to do?

Answer Hello Barbara. Sorry, but there is no smooth hose for this model. You need to uas hot water and mix it with your soap and softener about 50/50. This will help prevent the hose from clogging.
why did!n you make the replacement part like the original one which had a molded end which fit in the 2 inch drain pipe ? (which made it good) P.S. make the drain hose of better material. my laundry room got drenched.
