I need a hose that goes from the portable dishwasher to the adapter/faucet. How difficult of a task is it to change these hoses out. I am a good with screwdriver, hammer, and pliers. That is about it. Thanks
Answer Hello Valerie,
You can use the screwdriver and pliers on this and the most difficult part is feeding the hoses down into the unit. You can tie a string to the old hoses before pulling them out to make it easier to pull them back into position in the original route used by the manufacturer.
Does part # AP3799447 include 2 hoses with the Y connector to drain both drawers?
Answer HI Paul. For reference since we did not receive the full model #, I used this model #KUDD01DSSS0. Double drawer unit. You will use a Y-connecter part # 8194127 for the lower drain hose part # 8194400, and upper drain hose part # 8194081. Thank You.
The drain hose on the lower washer drawer is leaking. This hose is grey in color. The upper drawer hose is black. Is this significant?
Answer Hello Pete! It seems that the drain hose used on your Kitchenaid dishwasher model is part number 8194081. This is the only drain hose called for this model. There are, however, two different fill hoses one for the upper drawer 8194080 and one for the lower drawer 8194079. Hope this information helps you! Thanks!
