When you blow in the pressure switch hose, should it be hard to blow, or easy to blow?
Answer Hello Robby,
You should never blow into the pressure switch. You can blow into the pressure switch hose back into the tub to clear any possible lint clogs, but blowing back into the switch can damage it. You see, this switch is sensing the air pressure produced by the weight of the water in the tub. This is not that much pressure. Blowing into the switch can cause damage to the switch and cause it to overflow and flood the house.
