The supply line to the water dispenser has broken, but the ice line is ok. How do I replace the water supply line? Is it easier to just splice new line?

I think I need to replace the housing unit for my water filter. I've unattached the 2 water lines that go into the housing. Now, how do I get the actual plastic housing unit out from underneath my refrigerator? It gets stuck whichever way I try. Thanks.

I ordered a new filter housing from you, how do you disconnect the two water lines from the old hosing? I see gray round clips which looks like they should be removed so you can unplug the water lines? Will the new housing come with instructions on how to connect the water lines?

My water dispenser is constantly dripping. I'm thinking it must the solenoid water dispenser valve but I can't figure out what part it is on the part diagram breakout. Can you help me? If you don't think that is it, your advice would be most appreciated. Also, we have to play with the ice maker lever to get the ice to come out. The flap opens but nothing comes out until you kind of jiggle the cup around. I'm thinking it would be best to dig into this one a little by taking it apart to see if the microswitch is loose. If you have a recommendation for this other than my approach, that would help as well. Thanks and have a good one! Matt

We have a Kenmore Refrigerator Model 10659207990. Leaks have occured where the 1/4" O.D. & 5/16" O.D. tubing inserts into the water filter housing. This tubing comes from the water solenoid valve. It appears the o-ring seals around the tubing are faulty. I tried cutting 1/2" long ends off the tubing and reinserting into the water filter housing but leaks still exist. Does the housing need to be replaced? Does the housing include 3' to 4' lengths of 1/4" O.D. and 5/16" O.D. tubing? Thank you. Ed Wentz
