Answer Hello Mack,
In order to replace this light socket, remove the vent across the top of the unit. Drop the control panel down by removing the one screw in the center at the top of the control panel. Remove the two mounting screws and the two wires. The light bulb will probably have to be removed as I don't think it will fit through the hole. Reassemble in the reverse order.
