My Kitchen aid Ice Maker Mod.# KUIS1558HXW2 has started making tiny slivers of ice instead of the thick slabs it was making. Would this be the thermistor or the board? we replaced both about a year ago.

Latest Questions

My icemaker won't set the chill plate into release mode and just keeps building the ice thicker and thicker until the recirculated water just spills into the ice bin. Is this potentially caused by a faulty ice control thermistor or connection ?? Do you have the resistance specs so I can measure my thermistor first before replacing it. Thanks

My Kitchen Aide icemaker model number KUIS155HLS2 makes ice for a while then stops. Sometimes it works for days and sometimes it stops after 2 cycles. I get it to work by turning it off or unpluging it. Any ideas?
