I also ordered part AP2988306. There is a single prong and double prongs. Which attaches first? Do you just apply pressure to have the two prongs snap on the arm or do you have to slide is up or down the arm.
Tom
Answer Hello Tom. These snap into place. You will have to use some pressure, but be careful not to break it. Slide the two prongs up the arm and snap the bottom lock tab in place. They are not to hard to do. Hope this helps.

Icemaker guide on outside of door. Parts # 2180224
Sally for Model Number ksrg25fkwho2
Answer Hello Sally,
To remove the ice guide you will want to take the drip tray out. Use a flat blade screwdriver under the lower part of dispenser cover in the slot and pop cover loose. Once loose you will then take the dispenser bracket out. Once out, on the back side of the dispenser lever are 2 clips that you will push out and over the lever. Once those are loose you will roll the guide out being careful not to break the tab on the bottom. Reassemble in reverse.
Want to know if my model uses this replacement part. Can't figure out how to
take the old guide out. Any suggestions? It drops down when dispensing ice, but when I try to remove to replace it won't come all the way out.
Birdie for Model Number KSRG25FKSS03
Answer Birdie, Yes, your dispenser does use the 2180224 ice guide. The Guide is a "snap" fit and mounts to the Ice dispenser lever/paddle 2180259. You need to be careful when you install the guide, don't break the lever. We'll send you some information that may be helpful.
