My Kenmore Elite 10657793701 side by side refrigerator's ice maker has stopped ejecting the cubes. It freezes the ice but that's all. It this a control modular issue?
The first thing that you will want to check is the emitter board. When you open the freezer door look at the right wall. There should be a light flashing. If the light is not flashing then push on the flapper on the left wall and push on the light switch and see if the light starts flashing. If not then the emitter board is bad and would need to be replaced. If the light is flashing when you open the door then push on the flapper and see if it glows solid. If it continues to flash then the emitter board is bad. If the light is solid then pull the icemaker out and remove the cover and check the pins in the center of the large wheel. If they are pushed together or one is broken off then you would need to replace the icemaker module. The part number for the module is W10190935 and the part number for the emitter board is 4389102.
This is what I want but I need to be 220V instead of 110V. Can this work on 220v?
Answer Hello Alex! No, part number W10190935 is 120v only. We'll need your model number to determine the correct item available for your appliance. Please obtain this information and repost for further assistance. Thanks.
I put a jumper on n and m and the module wheel does not turn,it did before when I had this problem before,is the module bad?
To test the icemaker to make sure that the motor is good then you would put a jumper on t and h. The M to N is a test point for voltage for the motor when cycling.
