I have replaced the ice maker with this part AP3122341 and the fill tube extends into the fill cup and leaves app 1/16 in clearance from the wall of the cup. Is this too close or can you advise what the distance should be so the back pressure does not interfere with the amount of water that should be deposited in the cup? Thanks

Answer Hello Richard. That will work just fine in the unit. There is not a lot of pressure coming into the unit.

Hi, FIRST of all my unit runs on 220V system. I was given this 8560 kit to fit my system. Will the ELECRICAL spec of this kit match to my 220v 5ED2fhkxva00 model? just want to be sure before i purchase this. Thanks a mil.

Answer Jerry, This icemaker kit is showing that it is for 120V system and will not work for the 220V.

I'm installing an ice maker in this unit and have most of the parts. In the photo on your site of the entire kit, directly below the ice maker is a bag of plastic parts, it includes the water chute which I need. Can I buy this separately?

Answer Steve, You can use fill tube part number 2196157 to install the icemaker. You may have to reduce the side of the fill tube but it will work for this unit.

I bought this fridge brand new in 1999, without an icemaker. I decided to add an icemaker. I ordered the replacement kit instead of this kit. So I am missing parts. I believe I need all the parts except for that actual ice maker (water vale, tray, shut off arm). Do you know what these part numbers are? Thanks, Greg

Answer Greg, the parts used the icemaker kit part number 8560 is the inlet valve 2315576, harness 2187464, bucket 2166261. The replacement icemaker is part number 4317943 and uses shut off arm part number 627792. Thanks!
