I need the Arm -Stripr for this refrigerator. I don't need the whole ice maker. Are the parts sold separately?

Under this icemaker (p/n AP4360427), you gave the following answer to this question: ------------------------------------- If my ice maker is forming icicles at the bottom (and leaking water everywhere), will I need a new ice maker unit or new water inlet valve - which I understand is on the bottom of the fridge? I have read several conflicting answers online, so I want to make sure I am repairing the right part? A.j. Answer Hello AJ. If the icemaker is over filling, replace the water valve. If it is just leaking, replace the icemaker. -------------------------------------- My question is: How do I know the difference between leaking and overflowing? Is there a test? I never see the flow (or even wet water), only the substantial icicles. Over a few days, it fills up a cereal bowl under my icemaker. My ice cubes do not seem smaller than normal. We have very hard, but softened, water, so we get a lot of buildup on faucets, etc. So, my theory is that the switch has failed mechanically, and probably doesn’t always close completely.

The icemaker has stopped working in my Maytag MSD2254VEY01 refrigerator. It has been a problem (off and on) in the past and is about 3 yrs old. How do I remove the unit to test? I do not see how to unplug it. Water does flow to the dispenser.

With the icemaker removed, the voltage at th input harness is 75 Vac. Does this make sense? All the icemaker resistance readings are in acceptable range.

Hi, I installed this icemaker for my KitchenAid (KSRV22FVBT00) about a week ago. I thought this was what I needed to do, since the old one had no trouble filling with water and freezing, it just wouldn't eject the ice. But now after a week there's no water in the tray and no activity at all. Any ideas?
