My gas dryer seems to work intermittently. The solenoid valves can be heard opening but no flame, but other times it fires right up. Does this sound like igniter?

Latest Questions

My dryer has the vent assembly right in front and it is blocking the pulley assembly. How do I get in there to loosen the belt and remove the drum so I can access the heating tube? The dryer is not heating and I couldn't see any glow so I assumed the igniter was broken but is it more likely to be something else if we found a lot of burned lint inside?? I didn't know the lint could get inside the machine. I'll be opening it up and cleaning it out yearly from now on! Thanx!
