Finally got the dome removed (soap scum and lime build up). Impeller will not come off the shaft. Afraid to break the plate of the support under the impeller by trying to pry up the impeller. Any ideas?

Answer Hi Dan. Yes, especially with the suction plate underneath is N.L.A. . After removing the impeller screw part # is 910654, and seal part # 910934, maybe you can use some "freeze-off" spray part # 5303937087, and squirt some down inside the hole. Let it set overnight. Gently use a rubber mallet and tap on it breaking it loose so the lubricant will seep into the shaft surroundings. Prying up with a piece of wood on top of the support and between the impeller assy. part # is 902461. Thank you.
How do I remove the impeller part #AP4110858 on my maytag dishwasher?

Answer Hello Michael. You will need to remove the screw in the top of the impeller 33002789 and then the impeller will pull off the shaft. Hope this helps.
