I need to replace the infinite switch on my Jenn-Air cooktop. Would you be able to tell me how to remove the glass top so that I can access the switches. The stove is just a cooktop that is located in a center island. There is no oven attached just flush mounted in countertop. Help!

Answer Hello Lois. You will need to disconnect the power going to the unit. Then uninstall the unit where you can access the screws on the side of the burner box. Remove the knobs and the screws holding the cooktop in place. Lift the cooktop off the burner box and place it on a soft surface. Now you should be able to access the infinite switches. Reinstall in reverse order. Hope this helps.
