Whirlpool GJCLBO On this model cooktop, the left-front burner is dual element; an inner, 1000 W element, and an outer 2,400W element (or 2,400W total I guess). This left-front burner is stuck on HIGH any time the burner is on and I assume I need to replace the infinite switch. However, the diagrams I find online seem to suggest that all the infinite switches are identical. This cannot be, as this one has 0 to MAX for the small (inner) burner on the bottom half of its range, and 0 to MAX for the inner + outer burner on the top half of its range. So what part number should I use for a replacement?

I need to replace three switches: Left Front and Left Rear (bridge element) and Middle Rear (dual burner). I think I have the parts correct--Do I need (2) 975947436) and (1) 3191050, is that correct? Also I need to replace the right rear burner (warming burner) element--what is the part number? I would like to get these ordered as soon as possible. Thanks, Sarah

The knob for our Dual Watt Element (left front) on our Whirlpool Electric Cooktop Model GJC3634LB01 has come off and cannot be replaced because the pole that it would attach to will not turn -- and when we take the knob off, the pole just pushes down into the cooktop. Looking at a parts diagram we think it is the infinite switch. Do you agree? If so, what is the correct replacement part? Thanks for your assistance.

Hello, my Whrilpool Model # RF214LXTQ glasstop stove surface element burner just stopped working. It is the left front one. I am not sure if it is the infinite switch or the burner itself. I did a visual check and the burner looks fine, so iam guessing its the switch? Can you please give me the part numbers I would need for both the burner and the switch? Also do all four burners use the same inifinite switch? Thank you

From the diagram it is ambiguous which switch part I need to replace. Both the front left burner (with the bridge to rear) and the right rear (dual size & also simmer selectable) are either off or on; when on, it is always at the totally hot temp, with zero other choices, no matter where the switch is set. Do I need the infinite switch changed out for both? Is it the same part of different? Do all four burners use the same inifinite switch?

I need to replace the left front switch (dual size bridge burner) and the center rear switch (dual-size element) but I cannot pin down the part numbers from the parts diagram. Can you identify them. Thanks, Nick
