My washer has a slow leak. The factory has a crimped-on clamp on one side. How do I remove it?
Answer Hello William. Most of those you have to use a side cutter and cut off the clamp and replace it.
I have a leak at the nozzle and hose water fill station, the water is backing up and out of the airator area. I replaced the nozzle and hose and have the same problem. Is there a assembly procedure or another problem I may have.
Answer Hi Joe. Yes you will need new Injector Valve nozzle assembly with clamps, the part # is 12001677. The injector sleeve is part # 215447. This is a common occurrence as the washer ages and the injector rubber material shrinks, swells and cracks. Thank - you.
if the injector thing is leaking can we by pass it and fill the tank directly. If not why ?
Answer Mike, it's as easy to repair the issue as it is to bypass the issue. The injector assembly is a UL and DOH requirement, it is in essence an "anti syphon device" and it allows a certain amont of air in the system, when it is filling. You can clean the interior and the slots of the sleeve 215447 with a toothbrush and replace the nozzle and valve 213015 216201 by removing the front hose clamp and hose and you're done, and good for a few years. Thanks and Good Luck
