Answer Gin, For the issue of the water continuing to enter the unit once full would be a bad inlet valve. If the inner tub has up and down movement then the spinner support may have broken its weld or the tub bearings on the outer tub have gone bad.

If the only way to shut off the water is at the shut off for the water hoses, you will need to replace the water valve in the unit.

Answer Hello Chris, With power off if you take a pair of needle nose pliers and get between the harness and the valve on the terminal and twist needle nose pliers outward, this should allow the harness to release.
