Will the ice maker and water dispenser work with a clogged or removed water filter?
Greg for Model Number et1fttxkq02
Answer Hello Greg. No, if the water filter is removed, without a bypass, or if the filter is clogged, you will need to replace the water filter 8171413 if it is bad in the unit.
What is the correct part number for a replacement water filter? I've seen 3 different numbers so far: 8171413 (and a cyst-filtering version that is 8171414), 3118273, and 3182816. Thanks for the help. Blake
