Our 7-year-old built-in side-by-side Kitchenaid fridge has started beeping and the indicator lights inside are flashing. You can hear the compressor start and stop. The door gasket is also hot. We had a repairman out, and we replaced the inverter box. The fridge cooled to the proper temp and held it for a few hours, then started having the same problem. Now what do we do?
Steve for Model Number KSSO42QM
Answer Hello Steve,
You may want to check to see if the condenser fan motor W10181323 is running. A bad condenser fan motor will cause no air blowing across the compressor and this will cause overheating and shutting down prematurely of the compressor. Compressor will continue to try to turn on until it does finally kick in. The area inbetween doors getting extremely hot would be another sign of the condenser fan not cooling the condenser or compressor.
How to take out the wire connected from inverted box to the compressor ? or another word how to disasseble and assemble this inverted box. Thank you

Answer Tom, you forgot to supply a model number, but, we can give you some basic, general information. The connectors are "plug and play" type connectorsand if you disconnect anr reconnect the wires one at a time, or label the wires as you disconnect them you shouldn't have a problem. We'll also send you some information that should be helpful.
