This built-in KitchenAid refrigerator is not cooling. Technicians doubt that there may be a leak in the system. It runs on a compressor with R12. Will it be possible to change the whole refrigerating system - such as the compressor, condenser, evaporator etc with new components that run off of R134A? Is there any other better solution?

Answer Hello Siva. No, if the unit has a leak and is an R-12 system, you will need to replace the unit. It can not be repaired.

My refrigerator is knocking, it seems to be coming from inside the compressor. Could this be the problem? Compressor replacement would cure the issue?
