I have a svd48600b that I need to convert back to Natural Gas from LP. The prior owner did not keep the original orifices. What are the part numbers to convert back? It would be great if you had a simple Reconversion kit.
Answer Hello Steve! To convert the appliance back to NG you'll need to purchase the burner tubes. Unfortunately, the burner tubes listed for your model have been discontinued and are no longer available. Sorry about that!
I'm checking an old range to verify the lp conversion. The shared manual you reference shows some type of restrictor behind the orifices (page 5), but are not present in my range. Are these required?
Answer Rick, No, the orifice"LP pins" are not required (they were probably removed in the original conversion, or were never there on some serial numbers) . Both the LP and Nat gas orifices are "pre drilled" to the proper size and BTU rating (see page 7 & 8 for sizes and location of hoods). Just make sure you maintain 11 WCI under a load (all the burners on) and you'll be fine.
