Why do I need to buy the door hinge kit when the hinge receivers are so much cheaper? Why will these not work the same and what is so special about the kit that it costs so much more for a very similar looking part?

I purchased a set of hinges, part number 74010546 and no matter what I do the door continually pops off the hinge receivers. The factory hinge had a clasp that pivoted below one of the hinge receiver pins, locking the hinge in place. Part 74010546 does not have this clasp so I'm wondering what I'm missing? I've tried being gentle with the door but every other time the door is opened it pops off the receivers? Thanks.

How do I access the receivers for the hinges?

Answer Hello Bernie. 1. Turn off power to unit. 2. Remove oven door. 3. Remove maintop assembly. 4. Remove side panel. 5. Remove the top and bottom screws securing hinge receiver to the front frame. 6. Remove hinge receiver from oven chassis. 7. Reverse procedure to reinstall oven door hinge receiver.
