Dryer running but no heat - think its the dryer timer - timer seems good one of the wires for the heat is bad - when I move it, the heat comes on - can that be possible - can I just replace the wire?
already replaced the heating element
Answer Chris, Yes, it's possible. You may only need to check and replace the terminal. Look at the connection where the wire enters the terminal, check to see if there are frayed wires or a loose fitting at the terminal. Also check and make sure the terminal on the timer is not loose from it's mounting tab, that would require a new timer if that's the case.
Ireplaced the tem selector switch. My wife threw my wireing diagram away ,so Ineed a diagram to wire the timer .
