Tub leaks and spins far too fast.
If the tube is leaking just above the transmission then you would need to replace the face seal kit W10116790.
I have a washer that is not spinning fast enough and is leaving the clothes wet. I was told it sounded like a bearing issue. I have replaced the bearings and belt and I'am still having the same problem. What should I be looking at next?
Answer Hi. Look at the front of the pump part # 27001233 to see if it has a melted/bubble burnt mark in the center where the impeller bearing may have overheated and id dragging. Look inside to see if there is anything in the pump slowing it down. Look at the belt part # 27001007 to see if it is missing chunks or is slipping. Look at the tension er pulley part # 40045001 to see if it has belt slippage or the tension spring part # 40061401 is bad. Rotate the pulley to see if it drags. Look at the brake rotor assy. part # R9900474 to see if it is releasing the brake pads part # R0000014 and allowing proper spin speed. It is common that the brake pads will (one set) break and stick sideways not allowing the clutch to disengage properly. Inspect all these and clean the pulleys with rubbing alcohol. Thank You.
