Ice maker fill tube ices up and water pressure forces supply tubing off fill tube. Result is water on the floor. I would like to replace the fill valve and fill tube but want a tube with a pressure nut fitting so it can't the tubing can't be forced off the fill tube if the problem reoccurs. Any suggestions? Please indicate the proper part numbers to order. Thanks

I have water entering the bottom of the freezer (very slow accumulation) compartment as well as some leaking onto the floor beneath the fridge. I suspect that this is occuring during the filling of the ice tray. In order for this to happen, I think that it must be leaking down the interior of the rear wall. Could this be the connection on the elbow linking the line to the fill tube?

Any additional advise on removing the ice maker fill tube from the back of the 'frige. What does the part look like behind the wall? I am trying to pop it out with a putty knife and a large screwdriver. I can see an internal lip when I pry the unit out. Can I turn the part clear around?

Latest Questions

How do you remove the Ice Maker fill tube? Mine appears to be blocked as when removed from the solonoid, you can't blow thru the fill line. Solonoid works fine as it shoots water on the floor :-) Can't blow or suck thru the fill line going up to the ice tray.

I have installed a new ice maker and I keep getting water at the bottom of the freezer. I have watched the icemaker fill and no drips. Where could the water come from? Did I maybe knock the water entry grommet loose? How does it attach?
