both ovens work fine, but the digital display is very dim at best. Also, the oven doors do not stay all the way shut except for in self clean mode. Please advise.
Answer Scott, For the dim display, you will need a multi meter that can read DCV, Remove power to the wall oven, and lower the control panel, disconnect the J1 (four wire) connector from the back of the clock. Insert your meter probes into the no.1 and no.2 pins in the harness, you should have a reading of 12 VDC. then reset your meter to VAC and check pin no.3 and pin no. 4, you should have a reading of 20 VAC. If the voltages are in range(+/- 10) you'll need an ERC 71003401 If the voltages are inmcorrect you'll need a main relay board 74006613. As for the door hinges, check and make sure the lower portion of the door gasket is not dragging or oinched on the lower front frame, and the frame opening is not bent or warped. If alls OK, you need to replace the door hinge receptacles 74008015 and hinges 74008014 (two each per door) and put each oven through a four hour self clean cycle, to re orientate the door gasket. Thanks
