If you look the kit shown, it shows 2 large graces and 7 small. I have a dbl oven w/ a broiled so I have three oven burners. I understand why you are saying about the regular by this one has nothing to flip. Sometimes you cm it an insert to change. The pressure or inverted the cap, this regular he's neither. Or any disable way to adjust. Help, please. 317 339 0118
Answer Hi Greg. Have you carefully followed all instructions included with the kit ? You will need to convert the pressure regulator cap by flipping it over and making sure the actual cap cover will remain all together as same as removed (just holding with the cap threads also). Making sure as you lift the cover it will tell you what gas you have just converted to. By going to LP, you adjust all bake and broil burners down approx. 2, 2-1/2 full turns until fully bottomed out. Open the shutter windows all the way open as it will need more air. Then adjust accordingly until bake / broil burners have no yellow tip or very little tipping. The same rules follow on the top burner orifice's. You use the exact ones supplied in the kit for the correct burner. Then you warm up a burner for at least 5-minutes you need to adjust in case of lift off or yellow tips. You will use a very long small blade to remove the knob and adjust the burner in question with a pan of water on the grate. The burner should just "cap over" the top of the burner assy. on the lowest setting. If the instructions supplied with the LP kit is worded differently then follow the instructions closely to your kit. Thank you.
The oven offices are larger than those remaining and the regulator has no switch for lp or natural gas. Help again please
Answer Hello Greg. You have to remove the cap off the regulator to flip the regulator to LP. The orifices in the kit 5789A602-60 are designed to convert the oven as well as the cook top. They should fit the burners in the oven. Hope this helps.
