Answer Hello Aaron, The 12544002 is the primary water valve. The water line to the unit attaches to this valve. The output from this valve connects to the secondary water valve 12002193 inlet at the connection that points 45° to the side. From here, the 1/4 inch line goes to the ice maker. The 5/16 inch line goes to the water filter housing and from there to the water tank then across the bottom of the unit into the door hinge to the water dispenser.

Answer Hello Robert. Make sure the fill tube is positioned in the cup properly. You may needs to cut an angle on the end of the tube to prevent the issue you are having.

Answer Hello Rick. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the water valve 12002193 is bad and will need to be replaced.

Answer Hi Brian. Understand that you replaced the water valve part # 12002193. It will normally take 1-gallon of water flushed through the water filter part # UKF8001. It needs replaced every 6-mos.(750 gallons) of use. Activate the water valve for no longer then 6-seconds and let it rest for a few so that the new coils on the water valve will not overheat. If then after the air is completely flushed from the filter, tubing and water tank, and it still drips then this indicates a clogged water filter. Thank You.

Answer Hello Paul. Yes, you will press in on the plastic fittings on the valve 12002193 and as you press the fittings in, you will pull the plastic lines out of the water valve. These are not hard to remove and replace. Hope this helps.
