Where can I find my model number?

I found the original replacement knobs for my Whirlpool stove top model RC8600XBB4 on your site however I have two questions; 1. The price listed is a little over $34 however the description does not indicate if that price is for a set of four replacement knobs or for one individual knob. Is that price for a complete set of four knobs or for an individual knob? $34 seems a little high to me for four knobs as all the original knobs have heat induced deformation (melting) defects along with missing paint. The stove came with a recent house purchase so I don't know the age or level of care it received. 2. Although I may consider buying a complete set of four replacement knobs at the $34 price point I'm not too enthusiastic about buying plastic replacement knobs as the original plastic ones do have heat induced deformation which I'm fairly confident would also happen to plastic replacement knobs. Do you have any other non OEM and non plastic knob replacement options that would fit or come with a universal mount kit? Thanks for any help you can provide.
