Answer Hello Steve. 1. Turn off power to the range.
2. Partially remove control panel.
3. Remove buttons from ERC.
4. Install new button 308957B in the assembly. Hope this helps.

I have replaced the set knob for the set/cancel once already and it does not stay in. What needs to be done so that the knob is attached? Thanks

Answer Hello Steve. Make sure the knob 308957B is installed properly. If so, and it does not stay in place, then the bracket 308085B is bad on the unit. This part has been permanently discontinued by the manufacturer and we don't know of any source or replacement for the part. Thanks.
