How do I replace the KNOB/TIMER. This knob is very hard to turn. How do I remove the knob so that I may investigate the reason this knob turns so hard? Thank you.

Answer Hi. The timer part # 8535371 has a timer cam part # 3378124 in front of the timer body -on the timer shaft. These are accessed by removing the inner door panel after removing the timer knob (black) part # 3375348. Look to see if the timer knob is dragging on the outer keypad console panel part # 3375284. Remove the timer cam and insert the outer knob to test to see if the timer alone turns too hard. It should naturally turn (almost) effortlessly. So a physical inspection will determine the parts needed. Thank You.
