The timer knob has a plastic piece inside and it broke. Do I need to replace just the plastic or the whole timer knob?
Answer Hello Sylvia,
As long as you're sure that the broken part is a part of the knob 8544943 and not the skirt, it will be all that needs to be replaced. The plastic protrusion is part of the timer knob.
On model lsr94349pq0 the timer knob has a plastic inside the knob that is to hold the knob when you inserted in to the timer, but my question is, can I just replace the plastic that goes inside the knob timer?
Answer Hello Diana. It sounds like the plastic part you are looking for is part of the timer 8541942. It spreads the timer shaft to make it hold to the timer knob. If so, you will need to replace the timer. The plastic is not available separately. Hope this helps.
