Would it be unusual for both bulbs to burn out at the same time or would that indicate another problem?
Answer Hello Paul,
Unless there were a power supply or wiring issue to begin with, another problem is doubtful.
I ordered this part for my microwave part # KHHC2090SSS and switched out both bulbs above the stove top and it is still not working. Are they the bulbs? Is there a fuse box I'm suppose to check as well?
Answer Lisa, You have orderred the correct cooktop lights 8204670, they are a "halogen" bulb and you should not touch the glass with your hands/fingers, use a small cloth or gloves when you change them. They are rated at 12 volts, and the power supply is applied through the "relay board" 8206602,located behind the panel on the right side, front of the machine. The relay board does have a " non repalceable" fuse, if there is no voltage applied to the light sockets, and there are no damaged wires, you will need to replace the relay board. Thanks and Good Luck
