Where can I find my model number?

The microwave is 12 years old which is mounted above my stove. A week ago I noticed only one light was working. When I pushed the touch pad to turn it to night light brightness I saw a white flash and the bulb that was lite went out. I proceeded to go out & buy 2 more bulbs but when I put the new ones in and pushed the touch pad nothing lit up. I tested the bulbs and they are both working. All the other touch pads to the mircrowave are working and the microwave itself works. I took the bottom panel off to see if I could see any problem with a broken wire. The lead wire assembly for the two bulbs goes into a socket which I pulled out. I don't know if it is a faulty lead wire assembly, lamp socket or the touch pad switch itself. You are out of stock on both the lamp socket and lead wire assembly, but I don't know if that is the problem. Also, I could not remove the lamp sockets from the bottom panel even if I had to replace them. Is there a way to remove them without breaking them?

Answer Hello John. You will want to test for power coming to the light socket when it is turned on. There should be a black and a white wire coming to the socket. If you test across these wires, you should have voltage. If not, then the control board 8172053 is bad. This part has been permanently discontinued by the manufacturer and we don't know of any source or replacement for the part. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
