Answer Hello Vickie,
While you can order this and completely dis-assemble the crusher bin to install it, I doubt this will solve the issue. Most of the issues experienced with this style have issues with the freezer door liner warping. This causes the auger coupling to be effectively too short to mesh with the one in the door. I found that the best inexpensive fix for this is to remove the two screws that hold the cover on the lower coupler and pull the shaft up out of the door liner. Wrap electrical tape around itself, making a small ball with the sticky side out and insert it up into the hole in the bottom of the shaft. This raises the entire shaft up so the couplers can mesh. The manufacturers fix for this issue is replacing the entire door assembly. This is MUCH cheaper and has worked in many units for five plus years. Folks seem to appreciate a fix that saves them 700 dollars!
Does the latch bin for the ice maker include the crusher and spinning arm? The arm unit with ice crusher does not spin fully.
If so, could I get a picture of it before ordering?
No the latch-bin does not come as an assembly with the auger and crusher. These items would need to be purchased individually as the manufacturer does not offer an assembly.
