The water, ice selector lever broke off on my refrigertor ice maker unit. How do I replace it?

The front display will just pull off of dispenser assembly. Once off the housing is held in by 4 screws. If the part that is needed is the lever that is part of the control then the part number you will need is WR55X129.
How do I get the top panel off to replace the door switch?

Answer Hello Joe. Remove the lint filter and the two screws under the filter. Then use a flat blade and release the clips under the front corners of the top panel. Now you can raise the top and access the door switch 279347.
