When I tried loosening the idler lever, it does not loosen. Is there a trick in removing the lever? I replaced the pulley while it was in place.

Answer Hi Alan. It sounds like the idler lever has frozen into place. That part # is27001028. Please consider trying lubricant part #5303937087 to break free stuck lever. Remember to replace lever spring part #40061401, Thanks.
so it will hold proper tension.
