the "Deli" lid keeps coming off. We put it on and then after 3 uses - the lid comes off the right small cylindrical posts that holds the lid in place. That post is not broken nor is the lid broken. It looks like the cylindrical post are not long enough. Help!
Answer Sharon, It's an easy repair, but you'll need to go by the local hardware store or home improvement center and purchase 3 to 6 nylon or plastic washers/spacers. You'll need to remove the shelf, drawer, and lid from the assembly. Remove the three screws that secure the 12656105 drawer support track to the wall of the refrigerator. Slide one washer over each of the screws(on the inside of the assembly), and reinstall the track support( the washer should be between the refrigerator wall and the track support) This will move the support closer to the hinge and the post and get a tighter fit, and the lid will fit tighter to the actuator. You only need to service the one side.
I bought the Pantry Lid but after I received it I realized my lid is not broken. My lid will not stay on because the pin on the left side is broken. What is the part number for the pin that goes in the hole of the pantry lid and how does it install.
Answer Hello Hank, I would like to have your model number to be sure but I did a search for where the Pantry Lid was used and pulled up one of those models. I think the "pin" you are needing is actually part of the pantry tracks. The right track 12656021 and left track 12656105 both have a pin that supports the lid. Please verify your model number so we can confirm these are the right one's for your model. Thanks!
