What do I have to do to be able to release the clips under the top panel?? Are there some instructions that start from the beginning?

Answer Hello Richard. You will use a flat blade putty or butter knife and press in on the clips 25-7220 to release them and raise the top assembly of the washer.

Answer Hello Judy. You will need to raise the top of the washer to access the hinges and replace them. Release the clips from under the top panel and lift the top up. Then access the screws for the hinges. Remove the screws and replace the hinges 35-2044. Hope this helps.
