The washer was agitating(washing ) and I opened the lid to add 2 pillow cases. I closed the lid and it did not start up again. I have put it on all of the different types of 'washes' and none of them work. I have un-plugged it and re-plugged it-it doesn't work. I have checked the breakers and they are fine. Does this unit have a fuse ?

While we recognize our washer is old, I can't figure why it is not getting the clothes clean anymore, I thought it was because the agitator dogs was bad, as the top agitator was not turning, so I replaced them, it is turning now, but the machine is still not getting the clothes clean as it did before. The upper and lower agitator appears to be working. I can only assume the agitator is still not trashing the clothes around enough. I cannot figure out what the problem is. The are no leaks, excessive noises, rumbling, etc. Any Ideas, thoughts, suggestions? Thanks
