Answer Hello Marty, The bottom panel will come off by removing just a few screws if you cannot grasp the bulb enough to unscrew the bulb. The bulb simply screws in like a lamp light bulb.

Answer Hello, You are correct. One light will have a black and a white wire for the on light. The other light will have tan and white for the hot surface light. These are not designated terminals. Hope this helps.
