I bought propane conversion kit 49572A which is supposed to be the correct kit for this Amana dryer. The orifices fit, but the blocking pin doesn't fit in the regulator; the male thread on the blocking pin assembly is 3/8" but the threads in the regulator where the plastic plug was are larger.

Answer Dana, There should be a screw looking piece, flatblade, just in front of where the coils are. This is the location where the blocking pin goes in the regulator. The threading should be the same.
