I need to convert my cooktop from NG to LP. I have the conversion kit for the burners. When I look at the cap on my regulator, it has an orange plastic stem coming out of it with both LP and NG on one flat side of the stem. It is not possilbe to simply "flip the cap around" because it is not threaded on both sides and the stem would be sticking out. Do I need to do something different with that stem? Thanks

Answer Hello DK, You would need to flip the orange stem over not the cap. You want to be very careful and wiggle the orange stem out. Once out you have to pop it back into place on the LP side. The stem is labeled for NAT and LP.
