Microwave doesn't heat. Researched numerous videos, etc. One said 99% of the time, the diode is the problem. Got a diode locally to get it working quick. Put it in, still doesn't heat. New Diode now tests bad w/ DMM. Is there something I could have done when installing to cause it to go bad ? Would a bad Magnetron blow out a good diode? Magnetron tests good per your specs above. On the 3k ohm scale, DMM reads .001, .000, .001, etc. One place said a magnetron could be bad even though it checks good. Pretty sure I have voltage to the magnetron, but will check the HV Trans again. Another said to always replace the diode and magnetron in pairs. Your thoughts ?

Microwave is in a rental apt. 2 years old and has barely been used but out of warranty. Everything works fine except it doesn't heat anything. Will replacing the magnetron fix this- if not which parts should I order? Thank You
