Our range well ask us to insert the probe. We do not have a probe, never have and have never used it. Is this the part that the range is asking for and if so how can we correct this problem. Thank you

Answer Daniel, Yes, 3150144 would be the correct part for the auto temp cycle "meat probe". But since you've never used that option , you may want to check the receptacle in the oven cavity roof or right side wall near the ceiling and make sure it is properly mounted and fits tight to the cavity wall. Moisture or condensation enterring the receptacle, can create the same issue, some people purchase a stainless steel "button" from the local home improvement center and snap it into the receptacle opening to solve that issue. Otherwise the issue will be in the control board and console assembly(s) 9781973CW and 9781980, but these parts have been discontinued by the manufacturer and are not available at present.
