Have read it is hard to access screws without ruing inner lining/panel. How do I get to the screws safely? Also, to replace the door handle, part 8184264, why would I need to buy new screws? Shouldn't I be able to use the existing screws from the original handle? Thanks.

It may not be necessary to change the screws if there is no damage to the screws. To access the screws you will use a flat blade around the inner liner and slowly pop loose. Once loose then you will access the screws but may have to remove the latch to get to them.
