I need to replace the door torsion springs for the upper microwave oven of this combination. What is the correct part number for the LH and RH springs? I found P/N 4451008 (AP3046481) but it is listed as a LH spring, and I would like to replace both springs once I get the oven pulled out from the wall to drop the door. I also need to replace the light in this oven. I ordered the bulb, but it is not clear how to change it out, since it does not seem accessible from inside the oven cavity.

I have the combo model KEMC378KSS0, I need to replace the torsion spring for the microwave oven door. The parts diagram shows it as part #16 (or manufacturer #4451008). Should I get two of these? Why is there a part 16A? This 16A is not in the diagram. Or are 16 and 16A for the right and left springs, respectively? Please advise. Thanks!
The door springs on these are actually called torsion bars or torsion springs. It does take two of them. Whirlpool had an issue with the listings and we had to research to locate the correct part numbers for the specific model number. You will need to order one 4452398 for the right hand side and one 4452395 for the left hand side. They will be different colors, but this is correct regardless of what color the original ones are. Be sure not to mix them up during installation since this will affect the proper door closure.
